Kurt Perschke invites you to RedBall UK
Kurt Perschke’s RedBall UK is a large-scale public art project that uses urban spaces as its canvas and invites you to look afresh at your own home. Following appearances in Sydney, Taipei and Barcelona – among others – the inflatable RedBall comes to the UK in June 2012, taking in a tour of Torbay, Plymouth, Exeter, Weymouth and London.
I shall be following Kurt and the RedBall through its tour and filming the installation and public reaction throughout June. Check out the short promotional film I put together below!
Yacht Havens Promo Edit
Using the aerial footage that was filmed for Ray: A Life Underwater, I was recently asked to edit together a short promo for Yacht Havens. Peter Thompson filmed this stunning aerial photography using a Cineflex V14 Gyro Stabilised System, the same system used on BBC Coast and Planet Earth – Youtube’s poor compression has a hard time handling it! Enjoy!
Art on the English Riviera
I was commissioned to make a piece on the art work at Cockington Village which is now the centre of art on the English Riviera. During the filming process, I met some very talented artists and hope this film inspires people to visit the many attractions that Cockington has to offer.
